EFFECTS OF THE PANDEMIC
The effects of the Pandemic have drastically changed our lives. COVID-19 has brought us numerous difficulties in how we function. It has affected our work, lifestyles, schools, and even our interaction with other people. Our culture of being concerned about other people's safety and helping each other shined through during this time of crisis.
Soon, as the online classes and the lockdown in the Philippines started, it was very difficult for us students to cope and adjust for several reasons, poor internet connection for instance. But as I gradually became used to the online learning schedules I was finally comfortable with online learning. It was because of the time and efforts of the teachers and their passion for teaching. Their sacrifices were highly appreciated because even though we cannot interact with our teachers physically, we can still connect with them through messenger or email for queries and doubts, the school also has been supporting by implementing mental health checks for students.
Studying at home after nearly two years, I miss going to school to interact with my friends and teachers. Truly offline learning experiences are irreplaceable and can never be simply an alternative to the traditional offline way.
